Genesis Motor UK has opened order books for the updated 2025 GV60, with the electric SUV starting at £54,115 and deliveries scheduled for late summer.
The refreshed model features revised interior and exterior styling. The most noticeable interior change is a 27-inch screen that combines the driver display and infotainment system into one unit.
Genesis kept its Crystal Sphere gear selector – the retractable orb that emerges when you start the car.
The i-Pedal system works with regenerative braking to enable one-pedal driving. Genesis includes over-the-air updates as part of its five-year warranty coverage.
Outside, the GV60 gets new micro-lens array LED lights for better visibility. The overall design has been softened compared to the previous model.
Three Trim Levels Available
The 2025 GV60 lineup includes Pure, Sport, and Performance variants. All models use the same 84kWh extended range battery pack.
The entry-level Pure starts at £54,115. It comes with 19-inch wheels and delivers a 348-mile range on a single charge.
The Sport trim costs £58,515 and adds all-wheel drive with 160kW front and 74kW rear motors. This setup enables 0-62mph acceleration in 5.5 seconds.
The Sport’s 20-inch wheels and extra power reduce range to 318 miles.
At the top of the range, the Performance model starts at £67,715. This version focuses on driving dynamics with features borrowed from Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 N.
The Performance includes Drift Mode and Virtual Gearshift functions. It also gets an electronic limited-slip differential and road-scanning adaptive suspension.
Its twin-motor setup produces 480bhp and includes a temporary Boost mode for extra acceleration.
Options and Equipment
Performance models include two option packages as standard equipment. The £2,930 Comfort Pack adds massaging front seats with power adjustment, heating, and cooling functions.
It also includes an electrically adjustable steering wheel and laminated glass front and rear windows.
The £2,420 Innovation Pack comes standard on Performance models as well.
Genesis offers 14 exterior paint colors across the range. Additional options include a Bang & Olufsen sound system and road noise cancellation technology.
The sunroof package and vehicle-to-load capability are also available. The vehicle-to-load feature lets you power external devices like TVs, electric grills, or even provide backup power for homes during outages.
An Innovation Pack Plus costs £2,090 on Performance models but jumps to £4,170 on Pure and Sport trims. This package includes face recognition technology, remote smart parking assist, and a digital rearview mirror.
Digital side mirrors remain a separate £1,310 option.
The updated GV60 represents Genesis’s continued push into the premium electric SUV market, competing against established luxury brands with advanced tech features and competitive pricing.
