The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is getting a modest price bump while adding several premium features as standard equipment. The base EQS 450+ now starts at $106,400 — an $850 increase from last year’s model.
Mercedes is keeping the EQS SUV’s powertrain lineup unchanged. The rear-wheel-drive 450+ delivers 355 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. Buyers seeking additional grip can opt for the all-wheel-drive 450 4Matic, which adds a front motor and boosts torque by 161 lb-ft for a $3,000 premium.
The dual-motor EQS 580 4Matic continues as the performance-oriented option, generating 536 hp and 633 lb-ft of torque. It’s priced from $129,350.
At the pinnacle of luxury sits the Maybach EQS 680. Starting at $181,050, it combines 649 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque with exclusive features like optional reclining rear seats and a champagne cooler in the center armrest. The Maybach variant also sports distinctive two-tone paint options and a more traditional grille — similar to the updated 2025 EQS sedan.
Range remains competitive across the lineup, thanks to the 108.4-kwh battery pack. The rear-drive 450+ leads with 323 miles of EPA-rated range, while the 450 4Matic manages 317 miles. The more powerful 580 4Matic delivers 312 miles, and the Maybach version achieves 302 miles.
For 2025, Mercedes has enhanced the standard equipment list. New additions include four-zone climate control, soft-close doors, front headrest cushions, and a center airbag between the front seats. The options list grows with automatic-closing doors and an air-control package featuring HEPA filtration. A fresh Moonlight White Metallic paint color joins the palette, along with new 22-inch wheel designs for both standard and Maybach models.
Built in Alabama, the EQS SUV launched in 2023 as part of Mercedes’ initial EV expansion. It shares its architecture with three other models — the EQS sedan and the smaller EQE SUV and sedan. The automaker is now preparing to introduce its next generation of compact EVs, beginning with the 2026 CLA.
All prices include Mercedes’ mandatory $1,150 destination charge, which carries over unchanged from 2024.
