Skoda has unveiled its updated 2025 Enyaq vRS with a bigger battery, revised chassis setup and new synthetic sound options.

The performance flagship follows the recent refresh of mainstream Enyaq variants, adopting the “Modern Solid” front end first seen on the smaller Elroq. This includes the smooth Tech Deck face with standard illumination on vRS models. Both SUV and coupe versions benefit from improved aerodynamics through body restyling.

The vRS stands out with a lower stance – dropping 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear.

Standard 20-inch alloy wheels come fitted, with 21-inch options available. Gloss black exterior trim adorns the roof rails, window surrounds and wing mirror caps, while vRS-exclusive full-width reflector strips feature on the model’s bespoke bumpers. Matrix LED headlights come standard, and buyers can select the eye-catching Hyper Green paint.

Power comes from the unchanged dual-motor setup providing all-wheel drive and 335bhp total output. Minor tweaks have reduced the 0-62mph time by 0.1 seconds to 5.4 seconds.

This makes the Enyaq vRS the joint-fastest accelerating Skoda in history, alongside the new Elroq vRS.

The vRS now features a larger 79kWh battery replacing the previous 77kWh unit. Maximum range remains unchanged at just over 340 miles, but DC charging speeds have improved from 175kW to 185kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in 26 minutes.

Chassis tuning receives significant updates for 2025, with more dynamic damper settings than the outgoing model. The dynamic chassis control now offers 15 selectable damper stiffness levels and includes a special traction mode designed specifically for the all-wheel-drive system.

For the first time, Skoda has added synthesized ‘engine’ sounds to the Enyaq vRS, with two external noise options – Sport and Futuristic.

Inside, customers can choose between two finishes. The Suite option provides part-leather/part-artificial leather upholstery with grey stitching, while Lounge replaces genuine leather with microsuede and adds lime green stitching. All versions include heated massage sports seats, a heated three-spoke vRS steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and three-zone climate control.

Standard technology includes a 13-inch central infotainment system, augmented reality head-up display and a 12-speaker Canton sound system.

New tech features include improved keyless entry that automatically unlocks when the key is detected nearby and relocks when the key moves more than 2.5 meters away. Remote parking capability via smartphone app is also supported.

Prices for the new Skoda Enyaq vRS start at £51,660 for the SUV and £53,560 for the Coupe. Orders open on June 12, with first deliveries expected later this summer.
