Abarth Extends Top-Spec Run With New 600e Competizione

Abarth Extends Top-Spec Run With New 600e Competizione image

Abarth’s dropping the Scorpionissima name from its electric hot SUV lineup. The 600e Competizione now takes over as the range-topping model.

The Italian performance brand’s making the change after limiting the original Scorpionissima to just 1,949 examples – a nod to Abarth’s founding year. Competizione will be an unlimited production run of the high-performance variant.

Both the flagship and entry-level models get fresh names for 2026. The basic 600e becomes the 600e Turismo.

Performance Specs

The 600e Competizione keeps its 276 horsepower front-mounted motor. That’s enough for a 5.85-second sprint to 62 mph and a 124 mph top speed.

Abarth’s loaded it with track-focused hardware. The Competizione gets a Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential, Alcon monoblock brakes, and specially developed Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires.

Inside, you’ll find Sabelt sports seats and Alcantara trim throughout. Bold scorpion decals mark the exterior.

The Competizione starts at £37,995.

New Paint Options

Abarth’s retiring the Scorpionissima’s signature Hypnotic Purple paint for 2026. The Competizione introduces a two-tone finish instead – vibrant orange bodywork with a contrasting black roof.

The 600e Turismo maintains the same £33,995 starting price as the previous base model. It uses a 236 horsepower version of the motor for a 6.2-second 0-62 mph time.

The entry-level trim loses several features. There’s no Torsen differential, different seating, toned-down exterior styling, and no sound generator, powered tailgate, or heated seats.

The 600e marked Stellantis’s first performance application of its eCMP electric platform. The architecture now underpins several hot models across the company’s brands – including the Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, Vauxhall Mokka GSE, and Peugeot E-208 GTi.
