Mobilize – Renault Group’s financial services division – has partnered with Andersen chargers to offer designer home charging solutions to Renault, Alpine and Dacia EV buyers.

The new deal allows customers purchasing any vehicle from the group’s electric lineup to get an Andersen Quartz charger installed for £999. The package includes both the unit and professional installation.

The partnership covers six models – the Renault 4, Renault 5, Renault Scenic, Renault Megane, Alpine A290, and Dacia Spring.

Andersen’s Quartz unit delivers 7kW charging power and comes in 200 different color options. The wall-mounted charger includes a three-year warranty that can be extended to seven years.

The system connects to solar panels and works with smart charging tariffs. Compatible programs include Intelligent Octopus Go and E.ON Next Drive – both offering rates as low as 7p per kilowatt hour and 6.7p/kWh respectively.

These tariffs help EV drivers charge when electricity costs less, typically during overnight hours.

“Andersen EV has a fantastic reputation for its innovative products and exceptional service, so are the perfect charging solution partner for Mobilize,” said Mobilize chief operations officer Rosa Aguirre.

She added that the partnership provides customers with charging technology that matches the design standards of Renault Group vehicles.

Andersen CEO David Martell called the collaboration an opportunity to deliver charging solutions that reflect the innovation of the vehicles they support.

“The Andersen Quartz unit represents the latest evolution of our product lineup, combining cutting-edge functionality with pioneering design,” Martell said.

The deal follows Andersen’s recent partnership with energy supplier Ovo to provide home chargers including the Quartz, A2 and A3 models to Ovo’s customer base.

Home Charging Infrastructure

The partnership addresses growing demand for convenient home charging as more drivers switch to electric vehicles. Home chargers typically provide the most cost-effective charging option for EV owners with dedicated parking.

Seven-kilowatt units like the Quartz can fully charge most EVs overnight, making them suitable for daily driving needs.
