DS announced the No7 as the replacement for its popular 7 SUV, with sales starting in late 2026.
The new electric SUV uses Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform – the same foundation that powers the Peugeot E-5008, Citroen e-C5 Aircross, Jeep Compass, and Vauxhall Grandland Electric.
DS will offer two battery options for the No7.
Battery Options and Range
The top-spec front-wheel-drive model gets the same 97.2kWh battery found in DS’s flagship No8 crossover coupé. The No7’s taller stance compared to its lower sibling reduces range from 466 miles to 460 miles.
DS also plans a four-wheel-drive variant that adds a rear motor. Power jumps from 242bhp to 370bhp, though range drops to 422 miles with the dual-motor setup.
An entry-level front-wheel-drive version will use a 73.7kWh battery producing 228bhp and delivering 337 miles of range.
Fast charging peaks at 160kW – allowing a 20%-80% charge in 27 minutes for the larger battery. The No7 includes three-stage regenerative braking as standard.
Pricing starts around £45,000 for base models when sales begin.
Design and Interior Features
At 4.6 metres long, the No7 competes directly with the Tesla Model Y Premium, BMW iX3, and Volvo EX60 in the premium mid-size SUV segment.
The design borrows heavily from the No8, which introduced DS’s current styling direction earlier this year. Key elements include an illuminated front grille and distinctive V-shaped daytime running lights.
Buyers can spec 21-inch wheels and two-tone paint finishes for added visual impact.
Inside, the No7 shares the No8’s X-shaped steering wheel design. A 16-inch central touchscreen handles infotainment duties while a 10-inch display provides driver information.
The cabin features wooden inserts, embossed aluminum trim, textured materials, mood lighting, and gold accents throughout.
Built at Stellantis’ Melfi facility in Italy, the No7 offers 560 litres of cargo space.
