Fiat UK announced that its all-electric 600e now qualifies for the Government’s Electric Car Grant, slashing £1,500 from the sticker price.

The entry-level Fiat 600e Pop starts at £25,495 with the band 2 grant applied. That’s £500 less than the mild hybrid version.

Pop models include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, rear parking sensors, and a heat pump as standard equipment. The heat pump helps maintain range during cold weather – a common concern for EV drivers in winter months.

The 600e packs a 54kWh battery that delivers 254 miles of range on a full charge.

Fast charging happens at up to 100kW, which means a 20%-80% top-up takes between 24-28 minutes at compatible public chargers.

Undercutting Ford’s Competition

The grant makes Fiat’s electric crossover cheaper than Ford’s competing Puma Gen-E, which costs £26,245 even with its larger £3,750 band 1 discount.

Performance fans get the same government support on the Abarth 600e – the hot hatch version that earned recognition as one of 2025’s standout cars.

Abarth models feature aggressive body styling, bold color options, and chassis modifications that transform the driving experience. Power jumps from the standard car’s 154bhp to between 235bhp and 277bhp depending on which variant you choose.

The Abarth 600e now starts at £32,495 with the Electric Car Grant applied.

Making EVs More Accessible

Fiat UK managing director Kris Cholmondeley called the price reduction “another important step in making electric mobility even more accessible to a wider audience.”

“With the Fiat 600e now benefiting from both our recent price repositioning and the Government’s Electric Car Grant, customers can enjoy a compelling price point and great value, with no compromise to stylish, practical electric driving.”

The 600e joins Fiat’s complete electric lineup, which includes:

  • The 500e city car
  • The new Panda Electric
  • The Topolino quadricycle

Both the 500e and Panda Electric retail for £20,995, positioning them among the UK’s most affordable new EVs currently available.
