Fiat cut prices across its electric vehicle lineup for 2026, with the 500e now starting at £20,995 – making it one of the most affordable EVs available. The Italian automaker slashed up to £4,000 from its electric models while eliminating the previous £3,000 Fiat E-Grant program.
The 500e city car received the largest discount of £4,040, bringing its entry price down to match the upcoming Grande Panda. That base price gets buyers the 24kWh battery version with 118 miles of range.
The 42kWh battery option delivers 199 miles of range and costs from £23,995.
Fiat’s larger 600e SUV now starts at £26,750 – a £3,285 reduction that puts it closer to competitors like the Renault 4. The company’s performance Abarth variants also received significant cuts across both model lines.
Performance Models See Major Savings
The entry-level Abarth 500e dropped £1,990 to £27,995, while the higher-spec Turismo model received a £2,990 discount – bringing its starting price to £30,995.
For the larger performance option, the Abarth 600e now costs from £33,995 for the standard version with its 236bhp motor. The range-topping Scorpionissima, featuring 276bhp and mechanical limited-slip differential, comes in at £37,995 – down £1,890 from its previous price.
“Fiat is passionately committed to making electrified driving more accessible to customers, and with this new pricing structure for our fully electric line-up of vehicles we are starting the new year by making this transition more affordable and straightforward for drivers,” said Victoria Hatfield, Fiat UK marketing director.
She emphasized the company’s transparent pricing approach: “There are no complications with Fiat. With our transparent pricing policies drivers can simply choose from our range of award-winning models to enjoy Italian style and affordable electric motoring.”
Grande Panda Arrival Imminent
These cuts come ahead of the Grande Panda’s arrival, which Fiat says will hit UK showrooms “imminently” after significant delays. The new city car will share the 500e’s £20,995 starting price for the Pop model.
The Grande Panda delivers 111bhp and 199 miles of range from a 44kWh battery pack. Icon versions cost £21,995, while the top La Prima trim starts at £24,035.
This latest round of price reductions continues Fiat’s strategy of making electric vehicles more accessible to mainstream buyers – positioning the brand competitively as EV adoption accelerates across Europe.
