Fiat has expanded ordering options for UK buyers with the launch of the Grande Panda Electric Icon trim level. The mid-tier option sits between the entry-level Red model and the flagship La Prima variant.
All Grande Panda Electric models feature the same 44kWh battery pack that delivers up to 199 miles of range on a single charge.
The RED Grande Panda Electric starts at £19,535 after Fiat’s £1,500 E-Grant discount. Standard equipment includes rugged 16-inch white steel wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, and reversing sensors.
Icon Trim Adds Premium Features
Fiat hasn’t announced pricing for the Icon trim yet. The company says it’ll come with 16-inch black alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, rear privacy glass, and roof rails that reference the original 1980s Panda design.
Inside, the Icon gets the same 10.25-inch screen as the Red but adds wireless phone connectivity. Black seats with Icon pattern stitching come standard, along with a 40/60-split rear bench and air conditioning with physical controls.
The range-topping La Prima starts just under £24,000 before the E-Grant. It adds 17-inch alloys, heated seats, automatic climate control, built-in navigation, and front parking sensors.
600e Also Gets Icon Treatment
The Grande Panda Electric isn’t the only Fiat EV getting the Icon trim. Last week, the manufacturer announced the same mid-tier option for its 600e crossover.
The 600e Icon offers more equipment than its Grande Panda sibling – automatic climate control, keyless entry, wireless smartphone charging, and a 180-degree camera system. It also packs a larger 54kWh battery with 250 miles of range.
Fiat opened Grande Panda orderbooks on September 1st. The company is running a UK dealership tour through October 20th to let potential buyers experience the vehicle firsthand.
Initial deliveries begin in November.
