Fiat Grizzly EV Revealed Ahead of H2 2026 European Debut image

Fiat revealed the first images of its all-electric Grizzly SUV and Grizzly Fastback SUV coupé models this week. The announcement comes 10 days after the vehicles were introduced at Stellantis’ 2026 Investors Day.

Both versions of the Fiat Grizzly measure less than 4.5 metres in length. They’re built on the same Stellantis ‘Smart Car’ platform that underpins the Grande Panda, Vauxhall Frontera, and Citroën e-C3 Aircross.

Panda Family Extension

Fiat says the Grizzly isn’t simply a larger version of its most famous model. Instead, it’s designed as an extension of the Panda family.

The connection shows in the shared boxy styling that harks back to the original 1980s Panda. The Fiat Grizzly promises “best-in-class” trunk capacity – suggesting more cargo space than the 361 litres offered by its cousin.

Fiat hasn’t released specifics about the Grizzly’s electric powertrain yet. The model is expected to offer the same 44kWh and 54kWh battery options used in the Grande Panda.

The smaller battery delivers 180 miles of range. The larger pack extends that to 250 miles on a single charge.

Affordable Family Focus

The Grizzly follows Fiat’s approach of building affordable, easy-to-use vehicles with character. The company says it aims to “simplify everyday life” for owners.

Olivier Francois, Fiat CEO and Stellantis CMO, outlined the strategy ahead of the launch:

“The Grande Panda marked the return of Fiat to affordable family movers. With the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, we’re completing this lineup with two vehicles designed around different needs, different lifestyles, but sharing the same idea: smart, accessible and rooted in Fiat’s design DNA.”

He added that the models bring Fiat back to the heart of the family mobility market with a complete lineup.

The Fiat Grizzly is expected to arrive in Europe during the second half of this year. Pricing is anticipated to start around £25,000.
