Hyundai has revealed a mid-life update for its Ioniq 6 EV at Seoul Mobility Week, confirming its performance-focused Ioniq 6 N will debut in July 2025.

The refreshed Ioniq 6 features new black trim on the lower body to reduce visual mass. The front end now sports separated daytime running lights and main headlights, creating a wider appearance. Hyundai has also redesigned the rear section, replacing the controversial spoiler with a cleaner “ducktail” design.

The sportier N-Line variant receives a blacked-out rear inspired by Hyundai’s RN22e Rolling Lab experimental vehicle.

Wing-inspired front and rear bumpers with apparent air dams provide a wider, more performance-oriented look. The N-Line also appears to feature the N-badged steering wheel from the Ioniq 5 N.

While Hyundai confirmed the July 2025 arrival for the Ioniq 6 N, it hasn’t specified an exact date or location. Korean Car Blog reported via Instagram that the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed will host the official launch. The report came directly from Seoul Mobility Week.

Despite revealing the design changes, Hyundai did not provide any technical specifications for either the updated Ioniq 6 or the performance-focused 6 N.

The refreshed Ioniq 6 and upcoming Ioniq 6 N further demonstrate Hyundai’s current momentum in the EV market. At Seoul Mobility Week, the company also unveiled its Insteroid EV concept, which features a Group B rally car-style rear wing, 21-inch aero wheels, and video game-inspired design elements.

Seoul Mobility Week runs from April 3 to April 13.
