Hyundai has opened UK order books for its Ioniq 6 N performance saloon, with pricing set at £65,800.

The electric super saloon targets rivals like the Porsche Taycan GTS and Tesla Model 3 Performance. It made its global debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Power and Performance

The Ioniq 6 N delivers 641bhp through its twin-motor all-wheel-drive system. Top speed reaches 160mph.

That £65,800 starting price puts it roughly £800 above the Ioniq 5 N hyperhatch that’s already won over performance car fans.

Hyundai hasn’t released official range figures yet. Both N models use the same E-GMP platform and 84kWh battery pack, so expect around 278 miles of WLTP-rated range.

Trim and Options

UK customers get one trim level when deliveries start in spring 2026.

Optional extras include:

  • Vision Roof (tilting single-pane sunroof) – £1,250
  • Six additional paint colors – £750 to £1,250

The standard ‘Serenity White’ can be swapped for Performance Blue, Abyss Black, Gravity Gold, or Nocturne Grey. Buyers can choose between matte, metallic, and gloss finishes.

“The Ioniq 5 N revolutionised the world of performance cars, proving that an electric car could still raise the pulse of a driving enthusiast. The Ioniq 6 N delivers even more to the enthusiast driver.”

That’s from Ashley Andrew, president of Hyundai and Genesis UK.

Broader Ioniq Lineup

The 6 N isn’t Hyundai’s only new EV launching this year.

The Ioniq 2 – Hyundai’s answer to the Renault 4 – arrives toward year-end. The Ioniq 3, aimed squarely at the VW ID.3, also launches in the second half of 2025.

Hyundai’s betting the 6 N will continue converting UK drivers who still doubt electric cars can match petrol performance machines for driving excitement.
