InstaVolt has expanded its Summer Special pricing to the Syon Park charging hub in West London, offering reduced rates through August 31, 2025. The charge point operator previously launched the promotional tariff at its Winchester flagship location.

The 24/7 facility now charges 50p per kilowatt hour for customers using the InstaVolt app or RFID charging cards. Contactless card and mobile roaming users pay £0.54/kWh.

Standard pricing returns to 87p/kWh when the Summer Special ends.

App and RFID users will then benefit from off-peak rates of 54p/kWh between 8pm and 7am. The promotional pricing represents a significant discount from InstaVolt’s regular tariffs.

Delvin Lane, CEO of InstaVolt, said customer response drove the expansion decision.

“Expanding the offer to Syon Park was an easy decision, especially as the summer travel season gets into full swing. This is about giving back to our customers and helping them travel further, for less, while enjoying a top-tier charging experience.”

The Syon Park location features 14 charging bays with ultra-rapid speeds up to 160 kilowatts. The site’s strategic positioning near Kew Gardens provides easy access to the M3 and M4 motorways plus Heathrow Airport.

Additional amenities include Hillier Garden Centre, The Clocktower Café, a Lakeland lifestyle store, Wyndhams Butchers, and a boutique Hilton Hotel.

Network Performance and London Infrastructure

InstaVolt operates over 2,000 chargers across the UK with a 99.8% reliability rate. All charging sites run on 100% renewable energy.

The pricing reduction adds to London’s growing public charging infrastructure. As of April, the capital accounts for one-third of the nation’s high-speed charging network.

London hosts 4,500 rapid chargers and maintains the country’s highest density of public charging devices at 233.6 chargers per 100,000 people. The Summer Special pricing makes electric vehicle travel more affordable during peak summer months.
