Kempower and Mobilize are partnering to install more than 50 ultra-fast charging stations across France, the companies announced today.
The network, called Mobilize Fast Charge, will place stations near Renault dealerships and major highways to serve both local and international electric vehicle drivers.
Each location will feature six Kempower Single Satellite chargers capable of delivering up to 320kW charging speeds. The stations will operate 24/7.
Mobilize Fast Charge launched its pilot station in Bordeaux in January 2024. The network has since opened 15 charging hubs, with approximately 40 more stations under construction or awaiting grid connection.
France currently has 130,000 charging stations nationwide. The country aims to reach 400,000 public chargers by 2030. Of existing public chargers, 25% are fast chargers (50kW or above), while ultra-fast chargers (100kW or above) make up less than 10%.

Leading DC charger provider, Kempower, and Mobilize – Renault’s mobility focused subbrand – have teamed up to introduce more than 50 ultra-fast charging stations in France.
Named Mobilize Fast Charge, these charging stations will be located close to Renault dealerships and to major highways across the country for local and international EV drivers.
The Mobilize Fast Charge stations will have a standard charging configuration with six Kempower Single Satellite chargers capable of up to 320kW output. They will be accessible to customers 24/7.
France is already a world leader in EV charging infrastructure with around 130,000 charging stations across the country and has an ambitious target to reach 400,000 public chargers by 2030. Some 25% of public EV chargers in France are currently classified as fast chargers (50kW or above), and less than 10% of class as ultra fast (100kW or above).
The Mobilize Fast Charge pilot project was rolled out in January 2024 in Bordeaux. A further 15 charging hubs have opened since then and around 40 stations are currently under construction or awaiting connection to the grid.
