KGM announces spring finance deals on Torres EVX electric SUV
KGM has extended its 0% finance offer on the Torres EVX, making the all-electric SUV available for as little as £349 per month. The South Korean manufacturer, formerly known as SsangYong, is providing several payment options for the vehicle, which has a starting price of £36,995.
The offer runs until the end of June. Customers can secure the Torres EVX for £349 monthly with 0% APR over three years on PCP with a 22% deposit.
Alternatively, buyers can opt for a four-year HP finance package from £550 per month with a 28% deposit.
KGM is also offering an interest-free purchase option where customers pay half the vehicle price upfront and the remaining balance after 12 months.
The Torres EVX is KGM’s second electric model following the Korando EV. It delivers D-SUV space at a C-SUV price point – a significant value proposition in the electric SUV market.
Powered by a 73.4kWh battery, the Torres EVX provides up to 287 miles of range and features ultra-fast charging capabilities.
The vehicle boasts class-leading interior space, including a 1,662-litre boot. Its technology package includes dual 12.3-inch digital displays, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 3D 360-degree surround-view camera.
KGM plans to expand its electric lineup later this year with an all-electric pickup truck.
The upcoming Musso EV will share its name with the brand’s existing one-tonne pickup but will be built on the same platform as the Torres EVX. While technical specifications haven’t been confirmed, industry experts expect it to use the same battery and 204bhp front-mounted motor as the Torres.
The initial Musso EV will likely be two-wheel drive, though an all-wheel-drive version with an additional rear-mounted motor may follow.
The Musso EV is expected to reach UK showrooms in the second quarter of 2025. Its arrival could beat the Maxus eTerron 9, which was positioned to be Europe’s first all-wheel-drive electric pickup. It will also provide buyers with an electric alternative to the Maxus T90EV.
