Mercedes opens order books for the new CLA Shooting Brake estate, with pricing starting at £47,750 for the entry-level model. Deliveries begin in Q1 2026.
The estate version offers a direct alternative to the Tesla Model 3 with traditional wagon practicality. Mercedes provides two powertrain options for buyers.
Powertrain Options
The CLA 250+ features a single rear-mounted motor producing 268bhp.
For buyers wanting all-wheel drive, the CLA 350 4Matic adds an 81bhp front motor – bringing total output to 349bhp.
The entry-level CLA 250+ Sport model starts at £47,750. The all-wheel drive CLA 350 4Matic begins at £56,235 and comes only in AMG Line Executive trim or higher.
Equipment Levels
Standard Sport trim includes a 14-inch central display, adaptive distance control, and adaptive headlamps.
The mid-level trim adds keyless go, wireless mobile charging, flush door handles, and ambient lighting with 64 color options across 10 schemes. This CLA 250+ version costs £49,900.
AMG Line Executive brings a more aggressive bodykit, sports seats, Nappa leather steering wheel, and exterior door lights that project the Mercedes three-pointed star. The CLA 250+ in this trim starts at £52,285.
AMG Line Premium features Mercedes’ dash-spanning MBUX superscreen with a separate 14-inch passenger display. It includes two-zone climate control, memory package, and Digital Extra package for the Mercedes-Benz app store.
Pricing reaches £54,185 for the rear-drive model and £58,135 for all-wheel drive.
The flagship AMG Line Premium Plus adds Burmester 3D surround sound, head-up display, multi-beam LED headlamps, and winter pack with heated steering wheel. The top CLA 350 4Matic model costs £60,785, while the 250+ version reaches £56,885.
Charging and Range
Every CLA Shooting Brake uses the same 85kWh battery pack regardless of powertrain or trim.
The CLA 250+ delivers 472 miles of WLTP-estimated range. The more powerful 350 4Matic achieves 453 miles per charge.
Optional equipment includes trailer coupling with ESP stabilization for £950. A DC charging system costs from £850 and supports charge points up to 400V.
The Shooting Brake represents Mercedes’ latest effort to capture buyers seeking premium electric estates with traditional wagon versatility.
