Jeep has announced updates to its Avenger electric crossover for 2026, introducing visual upgrades and interior improvements to the brand’s smallest SUV.
The most noticeable change is a new illuminated seven-slot grille that comes standard on higher trim levels. Jeep removed the chrome surrounding each slot to create a cleaner appearance.
Exterior Updates
The 2026 Avenger features color-coded skid plates and redesigned bumpers across the lineup. All-wheel-drive 4xe models get vertical red front accents and Jeep Shield badging.
Jeep redesigned the wheel options with new 17-inch and 18-inch alloys in painted or diamond-cut finishes. The wheelcaps now display a stylized Jeep Willys profile.
Two new paint colors join the lineup – ‘Forest’ and ‘Bamboo’. An optional black roof is also available.
Interior Quality Improvements
The cabin receives what Jeep calls segment-leading materials and build quality. Door panels now use softer materials, while the lower dashboard gets a padded insert.
New premium cloth and vinyl upholstery options are available. The 4xe variant includes a washable green interior designed for durability.
The Selec-Terrain control gets a red, rubber-coated housing similar to the larger Compass model. This improves both visibility and ease of use.
Technology and Capability
All Jeep Avenger models maintain their off-road capability with approach angles up to 22 degrees, breakover angles of 21 degrees, and departure angles reaching 35 degrees. Ground clearance measures up to 21cm.
Standard equipment includes Selec-Terrain drive modes, Hill Descent Control, and new LED matrix headlights. A 360-degree camera system comes standard across the range.
The infotainment package centers on a 12.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Keyless start and cruise control are also included.
Electric Powertrain and Pricing
The electric drivetrain carries over unchanged from the previous model year. The 53kWh battery pack charges from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes using a 100kW rapid charger.
Range remains at 248 miles on a full charge. The front-mounted electric motor produces 154 horsepower.
Order books have opened for the updated 2026 Avenger, though Jeep hasn’t announced pricing details. The current model qualifies for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, bringing the starting price to £28,499.
