EVA England has teamed up with energy supplier Ovo to give its members discounted access to public charging across the UK and Europe.
The partnership provides EVA England members with a free three-month subscription to Ovo’s Light Boost plan. The plan delivers 10% discounts across major charging networks.
The Ovo Charge app connects drivers to more than 50,000 chargers in the UK and 400,000 across Europe.
The network includes most of the UK’s biggest charging operators – Osprey, MFG, InstaVolt, FastNed, and Ionity.
EVA England focuses on promoting electric vehicles and removing barriers that slow EV adoption. The organization says this new partnership will help members cut their daily running costs.
“This partnership with Ovo is about putting practical savings into drivers’ hands,” said Dr Vicky Edmonds, CEO of EVA England. “Reducing the cost of public charging can make a real difference to the cost of running an EV, and offers like this help more people feel confident about making the switch.”
Edmonds highlighted Ovo’s approach to charging solutions.

Alex Thwaites, director of EVs at Ovo, emphasized the company’s commitment to accessible charging.
“We know that for many EV drivers, the cost of public charging is a top priority, and at Ovo, we believe that the transition to EVs must be affordable and accessible for everyone, regardless of where they live or how they charge,” Thwaites said.
He described the partnership’s broader goals beyond simple discounting.
