Premium home charger manufacturer Andersen has partnered with energy supplier Ovo to sell Andersen’s charging devices directly to Ovo customers.

The collaboration allows electric vehicle owners who sign up for Ovo’s EV energy tariffs to purchase Andersen’s A2, A3, and Quartz charging models. Ovo technicians trained by Andersen will handle installations.

All Andersen chargers work with smart and dynamic EV tariffs.

This includes Ovo’s Charge Anytime add-on, which charges vehicles for as little as 7p per kWh at any time. The tariff can save drivers up to £620 annually.

Designer Charging Options

Andersen specializes in high-end designer chargers with extensive customization options. Prices start from £1,199.

Customers can choose from different exterior materials, finishes, and colors. They can also select tethered or untethered systems and various charging cable lengths.

David Martell, Andersen’s chief executive, said the partnership extends their existing relationship with Ovo.

“It is great to extend our relationship with Ovo by making our range of designer EV charge points available to purchase directly through the energy supplier. This collaboration means customers can now choose a charge point that complements their home while benefiting from the cost-saving advantages of Ovo’s Charge Anytime add-on.”

Alex Thwaites, Ovo’s director of EV, emphasized the company’s commitment to electric vehicle adoption.

“Ovo is committed to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles and our partnership with Andersen will continue to help encourage more drivers to make the switch to electric. This is good news for EV drivers and is also part of our wider commitment to helping customers cut costs and carbon.”

The partnership offers EV owners a streamlined way to purchase and install home charging equipment while accessing competitive energy rates.
