Porsche will reveal its new all-electric Cayenne this month in what the company calls a “double premiere.”
The flagship SUV makes its debut in an online broadcast on November 19. It then appears publicly at the fifth Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai on November 22-23.
This marks Porsche’s third all-electric model. The Cayenne Electric joins the Taycan and Macan Electric when it goes on sale in 2026.
Unlike Porsche’s other EVs, the electric Cayenne won’t replace the gas-powered version – both will be sold together.
Performance and Platform Details
Porsche says the SUV will “set new standards” for the segment. The company promises “outstanding driving dynamics, excellent long-distance comfort, uncompromising off-road capability and the efficiency of modern e-mobility.”
The Cayenne Electric uses the same PPE platform as the Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. Its 800V architecture should deliver strong performance, range and charging speeds.
Full specs get confirmed November 19, but the most powerful versions could produce close to 1,000 horsepower from a dual-motor setup shared with top Taycan models.
Even base versions will likely use dual motors as standard with at least 400 horsepower.
Battery and Charging Capabilities
The 108kWh battery uses cell-to-body technology that integrates it into the car’s structure. This saves weight and improves rigidity while providing up to 373 miles of range.
Charging happens at up to 400kW – that’s a 10-80% charge in just 16 minutes.
The Cayenne becomes the first production car to support wireless charging. Porsche’s optional Wireless Charging system lets owners charge at up to 11kW using a floor-mounted pad and vehicle receiver.
Design and Interior Updates
Early images show a cleaner look that’s still clearly recognizable as a Cayenne. The electric version is longer than the current gas model and offers more interior space thanks to its EV platform.
Inside, the new Cayenne gets Porsche’s biggest screen array ever fitted.
The Flow Display curves across the entire dashboard, incorporating digital instruments, a central touchscreen and a passenger-side screen.
The Cayenne gets electrically adjustable rear seats as standard for the first time. New “Mood Modes” adjust lighting, climate, sound and seat functions to create different cabin atmospheres.
Customization Options
Porsche calls this its most customizable model yet. Customers can choose from 13 interior color combinations, four interior packages and five accent packages.
There are four leather options plus a Rae-Tex leather-free finish available.
Complete details and specifications will be revealed at 2pm on November 19.
