Renault has opened advance ordering for its new electric 4 crossover through its priority booking system, with pricing starting at £26,995.

Customers who secured spots through the R-Pass booking system can place orders now – two weeks before general availability opens.

The company’s offering multiple finance packages for early buyers. Those using Renault’s financing get three years of free servicing plus options including 0% APR with £210 monthly payments, a £500 deposit contribution, or 5.9% APR deals.

Electric Revival of Classic Design

The new Renault 4 shares its foundation with the electric Renault 5 but targets the crossover market dominated by the Fiat 600e and Ford Puma Gen-E.

It’s designed as a modern electric tribute to the original R4’s practical, boxy styling. The oblong headlight surrounds and three-piece tail lights directly reference the classic model.

Compared to the R5 hatchback, the electric 4 features an extended wheelbase and raised ride height. Renault’s also fitted softer suspension tuning to match the crossover positioning.

Three trim levels span the range: evolution, techno, and iconic. Pricing runs from £26,995 to £30,995.

Standard Equipment and Options

All versions come with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a 10.1-inch central touchscreen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity are standard across the lineup.

Six body colors launch with the vehicle, including a new Hauts-de-France Green shade. This exclusive color pays tribute to the Île-de-France Blue from the 1960s original.

The powertrain mirrors the R5’s larger battery setup exclusively. The 52kWh battery provides up to 247 miles of range while the front-mounted motor produces 148bhp.

DC fast charging reaches 100kW maximum speeds. That’ll take the battery from 15% to 80% capacity in 30 minutes.

R-Pass priority ordering runs from July 1-14. General public ordering begins July 15.
