Renault Group unveiled three electric vans — the Trafic E-Tech, Goelette E-Tech, and Estafette E-Tech — built through its Flexis joint venture with Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group.
The largest of the trio, the fourth-generation Trafic E-Tech, continues a nameplate that’s been in service since 1980. Its extended wheelbase and corner-mounted wheels maximize cargo space, while maintaining a 10.42-meter turning circle — matching the compact Renault Clio. The van’s height stays under 1.90 meters for urban parking access.
The Goelette E-Tech revives a name used from 1956 to 1966. It’s designed for fleet and small business customers with a configurable rear section that supports chassis cab, box, or tipper configurations.
Measuring 5.27 meters long, 1.92 meters wide, and 2.6 meters high, the Estafette E-Tech is the most compact offering. It features a three-piece panoramic windscreen and a sliding door with an integrated track for tight spaces.
All three vans use Flexis’ 800V “skateboard” platform, delivering:
- 280-mile range
- 80% charging in 20 minutes
- Software Defined Vehicle architecture
- Real-time fleet monitoring capabilities
- Over-the-air updates
The platform’s Customer Operational Centre provides fleet operators with diagnostics and performance reporting tools.
Operators can service these vehicles at both Renault and Volvo dealer networks.
Production will begin at Renault’s Sandouville plant in northern France, with sales starting in 2026. The manufacturer plans to release additional specifications in the coming months.
