Rimac has sold all 10 examples of its limited-edition Nevera R Founder’s Edition hypercars before production even begins. The Croatian manufacturer announced the exclusive run of its 2,078-horsepower electric hypercar has already found buyers.
Each Nevera R Founder’s Edition represents a completely custom build. Owners were invited to the Rimac Campus in Zagreb, Croatia for personal configuration sessions with founder Mate Rimac and design director Frank Heyl.
The company used V-RED software to let clients adjust their car’s two-tone finish in real-time.
Buyers could select finishes and materials throughout the vehicle’s construction. The configurator allowed for hand-painted details and custom liveries – each reflecting the owner’s personal connection to the brand.

The Founder’s Edition exterior features an ultra-thin central stripe running the car’s full length. The stripe includes the Rimac logo and circuit board graphics, measuring just 2mm wide at its narrowest point.
Inside, hand-stitched door panels showcase three key dates from Rimac’s timeline. The dates represent the garage startup years, the 2013 Concept_One hypercar launch, and the record-breaking Nevera period that coincided with the Zagreb campus opening between 2022 and 2025.
The asymmetrical seat configuration pays tribute to Mate Rimac’s personal vehicle.

Rimac founded the company in 2009. He described the Founder’s Edition as a way to thank early supporters who helped shape the company’s path.
Performance Specifications
The Nevera R launched in 2024 with a 108kWh battery pack. Rimac calls it the “aggressive alter ego” to the standard Nevera, which produces 1,888 horsepower.
The base Nevera completes the 0-62mph sprint in 1.81 seconds. Top speed reaches 256 mph.
The R variant increases power output to 2,078 horsepower – making it one of the most powerful production cars ever built.
Rimac hasn’t released pricing for the Founder’s Edition models. The standard Nevera R carries a £1.7 million price tag, suggesting the bespoke versions cost significantly more.
The Founder’s Edition represents Rimac’s journey from a garage startup to a global hypercar manufacturer. Each of the 10 cars serves as both a celebration of the company’s history and a showcase of its current electric vehicle technology.
