Skoda has unveiled its Elroq Respectline, a rainbow-liveried version of its mid-sized electric SUV, as part of European Diversity Month 2025. The one-off model reinforces the brand’s commitments to equality, diversity, and human rights.
The special edition is based on the Elroq SUV that entered full production in January. Its rainbow theme extends beyond the exterior to include the dashboard, door inserts, and Tech-Deck Face grille with animated rainbow-colored LED lighting.
Several design elements pay homage to Skoda’s Czech heritage, featuring the hâček – the v-shaped diacritic that appears above the ‘Š’ in the traditional spelling of the Skoda name.
The Elroq Respectline made its debut at Auto Motor und Sport’s Best Cars 2025 event in Hamburg on May 9, followed by an appearance at Skoda’s internal music festival in Mladà Boleslav the next day.
Throughout summer 2025, the vehicle will appear at multiple cultural events including the Metronome Prague music festival, Prague Pride, and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra’s Open Air concert. It will also be present at several stages of this year’s Tour de France.
Maren Gräf, Skoda’s board member for people and culture, explained the initiative’s significance: “Diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual understanding are cornerstones of Skoda’s corporate culture. With the new Elroq Respectline, we are introducing a Skoda brand ambassador that embodies these values.”
“Our goal is to be a role model in caring for our employees and fostering a safe, open, and fair workplace for all. For many years, we have been building our corporate culture on these principles in close cooperation with our social partner KOVO Union, our employee groups, and many inspiring organizations and experts.”
“We are proud of our commitment to promoting human rights and mutual respect, and we believe the Elroq Respectline will help us carry these values even further.”
Beyond its role as a diversity ambassador, the Elroq lineup includes the most powerful production Skoda ever made.
The upcoming Elroq vRS model will arrive in the UK this summer with a starting price of £46,650. It features a twin-motor setup borrowed from the larger Enyaq vRS, delivering 335bhp and a 0-62mph time of 5.4 seconds.
