Skywell has announced summer offers on its BE11 electric SUV that could save customers thousands of pounds through June.
The Chinese EV manufacturer is providing three incentives: a free home charging box, £3,000 in public charging credit, and a £6,000 finance deposit contribution.
Through a partnership with Hypervolt, new BE11 owners will receive a complimentary 7.4kW Home 3 Pro smart wall box with either a five-metre or 10m charging cable.
Skywell has also teamed with Octopus Electric Vehicles to offer £3,000 worth of free public charging credit – equivalent to 15,000 miles – when customers sign up for the Octopus Electroverse app.
The Electroverse app helps drivers locate charging stations across the UK and mainland Europe. It includes route planning around public charging networks and works with major providers including Ionity, Shell Recharge, and Instavolt.
Skywell BE11 customers will gain access to 15,000 free electric miles from several charge point operators including Ionity, who opened a superhub on the M25 earlier this year.
David Clark, Skywell’s UK general manager, believes these offers address key barriers to EV adoption.
“Bridging the gap to traditional petrol/diesel equivalent vehicles is paramount,” he said. “Therefore, our £6,000 deposit contribution now offered, allows the BE11, a D-segment SUV, to be priced similarly to a medium C-segment hatchback.”
Clark added that the free home charger and public charging credit help overcome “nervousness around home charging installation and the cost of charging on the public networks.”
The BE11 launched in the UK in late 2024 with a starting price of £36,995.
It comes in two battery configurations:
- Standard 72kW unit with up to 248 miles range
- Long-range 86kW version offering up to 304 miles
All BE11 models include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a Metz sound system, 19-inch alloy wheels, and electronically-adjustable leather and Alcantara seats.
Skywell already offers the BE11 with a seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty and up to 10 years of roadside assistance.
