Iveco has signed a new partnership with Stellantis to expand its electric van lineup across the UK and Europe.

The agreement with Stellantis Pro One – the group’s commercial vehicle division – will provide Iveco with mid-sized and large electric vans ranging from 2.8 to 4.25 tonnes.

These vehicles will essentially be Iveco-badged versions of the Citroen e-Dispatch, Vauxhall Vivaro, Citroen E-Relay, and Vauxhall Movano Electric models. Stellantis will manufacture the vans at its facilities in Atessa (Italy), Gliwice (Poland), and Hordain (France) before delivering them to Iveco Group for distribution through its established sales and service networks.

The collaboration enables Iveco to extend its EV offerings into the lighter commercial vehicle segment. Currently, the company only sells the eDaily, which has gross vehicle weights up to 7.25 tonnes.

The first vans under this ten-year agreement are expected to reach dealers by mid-2026.

“We are excited to add two innovative and versatile battery electric vans to our light commercial vehicle line-up, boosting our competitiveness in the van segment,” said Luca Sra, president of Iveco Group’s truck business unit.

Sra added: “By choosing to partner with Stellantis Pro One, we are leveraging the extensive know-how and strong presence in Italy and Europe that historically tie our companies. I am confident that this winning collaboration will benefit our European customers, in particular for the success of their last-mile logistics businesses.”

Jean Philippe Imparato, chief operating officer of Stellantis for Enlarged Europe, expressed pride in the partnership.

“We are proud to collaborate with an Italian and world-leading company like Iveco. This happened because we are European LCV market leaders thanks to our operational excellence, the quality of our products, and our ability to develop battery drive technology, which helps reduce polluting emissions and protect the environment.”

This deal represents Stellantis’ latest licensing arrangement, as the company already supplies the same vans – plus its smaller one-tonne model – to Toyota, which markets them under its Proace family branding.
