Suzuki announced UK pricing for its first all-electric vehicle – the e Vitara – with models starting at £29,999 and reaching £37,799 for the top specification.
The compact SUV goes on sale in July. It’ll compete directly with the Fiat 600e, Skoda Elroq and Kia EV3 in the growing electric crossover market.
This marks Suzuki’s entry into pure electric vehicles, though the e Vitara name builds on the brand’s existing SUV heritage. The lineup includes two trim levels and three powertrain configurations.
Battery and Range Options
Entry-level pricing starts at £29,995 for the 49kWh Motion 2WD variant.
That model pairs a 142bhp front motor with a 49kWh battery pack. Suzuki hasn’t released official range figures yet, but Toyota expects 214 miles from its closely related Urban Cruiser model that shares the same platform.
All other e Vitara models use a larger 61kWh battery – with 59.8kWh usable capacity. The most efficient configuration should deliver around 265 miles per charge, according to company estimates.
Two-wheel-drive versions with the bigger battery get a 178bhp motor.
The 61kWh Motion 2WD starts at £32,999. Step up to the better-equipped Ultra 2WD for £35,799.
All-Wheel Drive Capability
Unlike most rivals in this segment, the e Vitara offers all-wheel drive through Suzuki’s Allgrip-e system.
That setup adds a rear motor for 181bhp total output. The dual-motor configuration includes specific driving modes designed for challenging conditions.
Pricing for AWD models starts at £34,999 for the 61kWh Motion Allgrip-e 4WD.
The range-topping Ultra Allgrip-e 4WD costs £37,799.
Suzuki will reveal complete UK specification details before orders open next month.
Launch Incentives
The company’s offering 0% finance deals from launch to attract customers to its electric debut.
Early buyers get additional perks – anyone ordering before the end of September receives a free Ohme home wall charger plus 10,000 miles worth of home charging credit.
That charging allowance equals roughly 18 months of driving for typical UK motorists.
The e Vitara’s pricing positions it squarely in one of the most competitive EV segments, where manufacturers are fighting for market share with increasingly similar specifications and features.
