Cupra has launched pre-orders for its new Raval supermini, with the compact hatch qualifying for the UK’s Electric Car Grant scheme.
The Renault 5 competitor receives a £1,500 price reduction across all variants using the larger 52kWh battery pack. Models equipped with the smaller 37kWh battery are still awaiting approval for the grant scheme.
Pricing Structure
The Raval’s entry price stays at £23,785 for the base Origin trim with its 37kWh battery and 113bhp motor.
V1 and V2 models with the smaller battery pack maintain their original pricing.
The grant approval means the V1 fitted with the 277-mile range 52kWh battery and 207bhp motor now starts at £28,495. The V2 trim drops to £31,080.
For a limited period, buyers can upgrade to the V2 Launch Edition at no extra cost – adding £1,500 worth of additional equipment.
Launch Incentives
The Launch Edition includes premium features like surround view camera, Matrix LED headlights, remote parking assist, and Travel Assist 3.0 driver assistance system.
Cupra’s offering standard metallic paint free on all 52kWh models to mark the car’s launch. Premium metallic and matte finishes get a £695 discount.
The first 100 retail customers placing pre-orders will receive a complimentary Harper Collective x Cupra Cabin Suitcase. The luggage piece is made from recycled ocean plastic and valued at £1,125.
Range-Topping Models
The Raval lineup tops out with the performance-focused VZ and VZ Extreme variants.
These models start from £33,495 and £34,810 respectively – pricing that’s virtually identical to the rival Alpine A290.
First UK deliveries are expected in autumn 2026 with pre-orders now open through Cupra dealerships.
The compact EV represents Cupra’s push into the growing supermini segment, competing directly with the retro-styled Renault 5 and Alpine’s hot hatch offering.
