Farizon has unveiled the V7E electric van at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2026. The mid-sized commercial vehicle targets the same market as the Ford Transit City and Kia PV5.

The Chinese brand designed the V7E as an affordable alternative to its existing SV model, which launched last year.

Specifications and Features

The V7E measures 4.99m in length – roughly matching its pricier sibling. Its cargo area spans 2.73m and provides up to 6.95m³ of loading space.

The van can carry payloads up to 1,338kg. Two sliding side doors and twin rear doors provide access, with a loading height of just 500mm.

All models use the same drive-by-wire system as the SV. This technology controls steering, throttle and brakes electronically rather than through mechanical connections.

Battery and Range Options

Farizon offers two battery configurations to keep costs manageable. Both versions use a 148bhp front-mounted motor with 170lb ft of torque.

The entry-level model pairs a 50kWh battery with a claimed range of 149 miles. For longer routes, the 67kWh option extends range to 204 miles.

Top speed reaches 75mph across both variants.

DC charging capability hits 100kW on both models. This can charge the battery from 20-80% in approximately 18 minutes under optimal conditions.

Vehicle-to-load capability comes standard. A 220V socket in the rear cargo area can power tools and equipment.

Interior and Technology

The V7E comes in a single specification level with three exterior color options. Farizon says this approach helps maintain the van’s competitive pricing.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen handles infotainment duties and includes Android and Apple connectivity. The system also displays feeds from the 360-degree camera system.

Standard equipment includes:

  • Keyless entry and start
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Six-way adjustable driver’s seat with ventilation
  • Two USB charging ports
  • 17 driver assistance systems

Pricing and Availability

The V7E will cost between £28,000 and £30,500 before VAT. These prices don’t include any available government grants for commercial electric vehicles.

Farizon is accepting orders now, with deliveries beginning soon. The company says the V7E targets urban delivery services and last-mile logistics providers who need reliable range without premium pricing.

The van joins Farizon’s growing UK lineup as the brand attempts to establish itself in the competitive commercial EV market.
