Audi has announced its heavily revised Q4 e-tron now starts at £46,260 – a £1,095 price reduction from the previous model.
The mid-sized Q4 e-tron has been one of Audi’s few success stories during its transition to electric vehicles. The all-electric SUV has consistently ranked among the UK’s top-selling EVs for three years running.
Pricing and Performance Details
The entry-level Sport trim carries that £46,260 starting price. It features a rear-mounted 201bhp electric motor paired with a 63kWh battery pack.
Range has improved to 273 miles – up from 251 miles in the outgoing model.
The more aerodynamic Sportback variant pushes range to 280 miles. The coupe-SUV bodystyle commands a £1,900 premium across the entire lineup.
Next up is the Performance Sport trim at £50,980. This version packs a single 282bhp motor with an 82kWh battery – the longest-range Q4 e-tron available.
Range hits 359 miles for the SUV and 367 miles for the Sportback.
The S line trim starts at £49,300 and adds sporty styling elements inside and out. The Black Edition costs £52,210 and features blacked-out exterior details throughout.
Topping the range is the Vorsprung flagship, priced between £58,960 and £68,660 for the quattro Performance variant.
Twin-motor quattro versions receive a power boost to 295bhp but range drops slightly – 346 miles for the SUV and 356 miles for the Sportback. The quattro Performance makes 335bhp, unchanged from before, but range jumps significantly to 336 miles (SUV) and 344 miles (Sportback).
Charging Technology Updates
Only the quattro Performance benefits from improved 185kW charging speeds. Other trims stick with the previous 175kW rate.
Charging remains average with 10-80% top-ups taking 27 minutes.
The Q4 e-tron now includes bi-directional Vehicle-to-Load charging capability. This system can power e-bikes and other electronic devices – a first for any Audi EV.
The feature matches what’s already available on sister models like the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5.
Interior Redesign
Audi has significantly overhauled the Q4 e-tron’s cabin. The most noticeable change combines the 11.9-inch driver display with the 12.8-inch central touchscreen into a single unit.
Vorsprung models get a 12-inch passenger screen displaying navigation, vehicle settings, radio stations, smartphone pairing, and various apps.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard across the range.
The dashboard has been redesigned with a new center console shape. Audi now includes two wireless smartphone chargers and updated interior door trim.
Sports seats and ambient lighting are now standard equipment.
Exterior Updates
New front and rear bumpers bring the Q4 e-tron’s styling closer to the newer A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron models. The blanked-off grille gets a new insert that’s now color-coded with the body.
The rear diffuser now protrudes more than before.
Matrix LED headlights with a new signature are optional. While the rear light bar looks similar, it now uses second-generation OLED technology.
Audi has added three new exterior colors and five new wheel designs as part of the mid-life refresh. New 20-inch and 21-inch rim options are available for both body styles.
The updates position the Q4 e-tron to maintain its strong sales performance in an increasingly competitive EV market. Deliveries of the revised model begin later this year.
